Management Development & Succession Planning

The purpose of Management Development & Succession Planning is to enhance your managers ability to achieve results through the activities of others. Our customized programs bring out the skills necessary to do that. Managers who learn to delegate effectively, communicate better, and work with and through others produce the most outstanding results.

The Process: We first assess the individual’s overall management issues and determine which skills, if any, are missing. Learning how to empower others, to balance authority and power, gain support, cope with change and stress, and develop a dynamic decision-making strategy are some of examples often identified. We then help you develop these skills and qualities in your management team. We use a group setting to teach concepts and then make direct application of learned behaviors to specific situations. Over time, day-to-day practice helps managers to recognize and reinforce new behaviors.

The results: Better managers mean better employees, which mean better customer satisfaction. Developing your managers into a high performing team has a significant effect on your business.

The Structure: Customized programs at the client’s location over a 6-12 month period. Bi-weekly two to three hour sessions with the management team cover a variety of issues relevant to the client’s specific needs. Action plans are developed and monitored as the program moves forward and corrections identified where necessary.
